A wonderful window into the world of drag and queer secrets of Darlinghurst told through the glamorously dressed eyes of Wonder Mamma. Warmth, humor and honesty brought the rich and colorful history of this little strip of Sydney alive and personal anecdotes and connections made it real 💕

Wonder Mama is very knowledgeable about the events and places that have shaped LGBTQ people and communities in Sydney. I learned a lot from her. What's more, Wonder Mama is such an enthusiastic and friendly person - it's hard not to connect with her! The visit to the FAX Fetish Boutik and the ice cream are also must. In sum, I highly recommend this tour--probably one of the best tours I've done in Sydney.

If I were to give it one sentence I would say “Wish it was longer!” But by no means meaning that it lacked substance. Wilma aka Wonder Mama was a hoot, gave us quite a bit of cool history and info about the Oxford area as well as a bit of the history of gay Sydney. Of course the book I would have loved to have bought she wrote was sold out at the bookstore, but goes to show how good it must be. We appreciated the smaller group, was glad she wasn’t taking a break so shortly after Mardi Gras which we missed, so we booked her as soon as we found her! Enjoyed every minute!

We had a great time on the walking tour with Wonder Momma! We spent about 3 hours waking around Oxford street as she told us the history behind this fabulous street. So informational & like nothing we’ve ever done before! Wonder Momma is a great guide with all the LGBT+ history as well as providing jokes along the way! We got to go into a leather shop (first time for both of us & not something we would have done on our own!) and went to the local bookshop where our guide has published her own children’s book! She even personalized it for us to keep! Overall, a must do in Sydney! Highly recommend!

Great activity. WonderMama knew everyone and the history of every building. They made sure to stop at places and give us the background of each building and the surrounding areas. One of my favorite events in Sydney.
