Terrace Houses were the houses of rich & upper class people in Ephesus City have been lived, famed with gorgeous mosaics, frescoes and wall paintings. One of the best preserved site in the Ephesus in which archeological works still continue.

In early A.D, Evangelist St. John lived in the Ephesus in order to spread Christianity and collect more followers to the way of Jesus. And, according to many sources, he died around Ephesus after he returned from exile in Patmos.
And, buried on the southern slope of Ayosolug Hill by his students.
Roman Emperor Justinian constructed one of the biggest Basilicas of Christianity in the 4th Century A.D over the burial of St. Jean the Evangelist!

Artemis was the Greek goddess, the virginal huntress and twin of Apollo, who replaced the Titan Selene as Goddess of the Moon.
The ancient temple was built around 650 BC to the cult of Artemis, was constructed on a site already sacred to the Anatolian Mother Goddess, Cybele. The temple was financed by the wealthy king of Lydia and the marshy ground was selected for the building site as a precaution against future earthquakes.
During the time, it has been destroyed and collapsed many times due to the natural disasters.

Deniz is very friendly we enjoyed this tour. We were 4 people as a best friend from new zelland. First time in turkey and ephesus amazing day amazing tour. Lunch is very delicious. We recomend to see rug coop in nomad village.

What an incredible experience to do the Ephesus tour from the Kusadasi port. Most tours you get the driver that knows a bit about the place. We were privileged to get Gul as our tour guide. Her knowledge of all things about Turkey made the day so much more interesting. We designed the day on what interested us the most and this ensured no time was wasted. Also to get a personal guide that speaks fantastic English really helped. Really recommend this tour to anyone.

Fabulous day learned lots of history. Had a wonderful lockdown lunch. Our guide was very considerate and fun. As was our driver very thoughtful. We recommend this tour to all ages.

We were picked up by Ismail Keser and our driver at the cruise port and taken to Ephesus where Ismail gave us a fantastic information filled tour of the site. Ismail was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. After our tour we were taken to a family run restaurant where traditional carpets are made. The setting was outdoor under trees. We were served Turkish mezze as well as a couple of meat dishes followed by a traditional dessert. All in all it was a really great day and I can thoroughly recommend Ismail as a tour guide when in Kusadasi.

My trip to Ephesus and the surrounding sites were fantastic. We learned a lot about the historical sites of Ephesus, Ephesus Theatre and the terrace houses. Needless to say that our tour guide, Ozzy was knowledgeable and explaining in details all of the historical sites. Finally , i will recommend Ozzy to potential visitors visiting this beautiful place.

Our tour guide, Isik, was fantastic. Isik was informative, knowledgable, knew the best places to stop for a photo and kept the pace to something we were able to keep up with. We had a great day, came away with terrific memories & would highly recommend Isik as your tour guide.

From the time we made the booking on the Viator app, the provider was in contact with us, via WhatsApp, with detailed information on our pickup at the port. On the morning of the pickup, we received a photograph of the board in the port, showing our name. This made our connection with our guide very simple.
We got off the ship very quickly and were soon on our way to Ephesus. Getting there before the crowds was fantastic. Ismail, our wonderful guide, gave us choices for our tour, then detailed information on everything. Ismail was brilliant, our vehicle was spotlessly clean, modern and comfortable. Our driver was also excellent.
We chose the Terrace Houses as part of our Ephesus tour and were so pleased we did, it was incredible.
We had a fantastic day and now have the most incredible memories and photos. Thank you everyone that had a part in our experience.
