We had a fantastic time on our fishing trip! Jorge and Gustavo were super friendly and very helpful! We caught a few fish and had a relaxing ride on the water. Highly recommend, and we will use them again when we return next year!!

Was an enjoyable adventure. “Breakfast” was a sack lunch with half a Subway sandwich, chips, and some snacks…not exactly the wonderful breakfast other reviews had. The crew (Jorge & Gustavo) were very friendly, tried their best to get us hooked into some marlin, but that’s why it’s called fishing, and not catching. Overall, it was a great experience!

I went on the vessel, Robalo, with a father and son as the crew. The boat was brand new and very clean with amenities. The father was the Skipper, and his son Alex was the crew. In one word, it was Fantastic! As an experienced fisherman from the West Coast of British Columbia, I was given a show of professionalism and talent! Alex worked hard, setting bait and maintaining the lines. When a marlin hit, it was just not one but three hit!! Alex gave me one rod, and concentrated on me, and let the other two go. We brought it in, took photos and I released it! It was all in all a fantastic fishing trip! I'd highly recommend using this Team and would certainly use them again!

We went out on an all day deep sea fishing excursion with Alex and his dad on the boat Robala. We had a GREAT day! It was the "off season" for blue marlin, but we still caught 4 blue marlin that day. And we caught a shark. It was a wonderful experience. Alex and his dad were low key but yet had our adrenaline pumping when we had our fish on the line. I would strongly recommend this company to anybody :)

Freddy and José showed us an awesome time on El Pargo! They are super knowledgeable fishermen and took care of everything outside of reeling in the catches! We were able to find some HUGE mahi mahi and overall had a great experience. We will definitely be back during Marlin season and plan to use the same crew!

Rueben and Alex were amazing hosts! Got us on the fish and took us to see some amazing sights. Top notch boat and kept in amazing condition. Snacks and drinks were great! Highly recommended trip of a lifetime! Thanks Rueben and Alex for the memories.

As experienced fishermen we know how important reviews are with unknown Captains. After reading the great reviews of Blue Tail and Crew, we were hooked. Unfortunately, when we showed up we were ushered to a different boat and different crew. This Crew, while extremely nice, was very unknowledgeable about fishing in general. They were trolling at a speed that the rigs were not even in the water. But worse yet, when trolling didn’t work, they offered us bottom fishing. We went to a few sites where the 1st mate got hung up on the bottom and a deckhand in training fished the entire time while my wife and I split a rod. Bear in mind this was a private charter and we were the only two on the boat. The straw that broke the camel’s back was near the end of the day when they fought a bottom snag for 30 minutes, which they caused, and then the deckhand tried to hand me a rod which was completely backlashed. If you’re looking for a ridiculously expensive 5 hour water tour this is great. But if you’re serious fisherman looking to actually fish, go elsewhere. There are plenty of options.

Always a great experience with the blue tail family. Captain Juan and his crew are all terrific fisherman, no such thing as coming back empty handed they do their ultimate best to make sure we are always catching fish. This has been my third trip out with Juan and I can’t recommend him enough. no hastle, on time always, packs a great lunch and enough drinks, we got the honor of taking out his new boat ROBALO out of his fleet and popped its cherry with a stripped marlin. captain Reuben and his first mate Alex were outstanding as well as hillbert and Freddy who took us out on blue tail 1. Look no further this is hands down a 5 star company who provides that experience!!!

Wanted to spend a day on the water and hopefully catch some fish. Spoke with Juan who helped us organize the right boat and plan the day, including hotel transfer. Professional from start to finish! Had a great time and managed to catch my first marlin after years of fishing. Can't say enough about the experience, the crew, and the service received.

, Great experience! Went for my sons 18th birthday. Saw lots of wildlife and the captain and 1st mate were great! Found a groupd of Marlin and nearly caught one but it slipped off our hook. Got some clever selfie pictures with a seal on the back of the boat while trolling
