I had a fun time trying different Icelandic dishes. Noki made the experience really enjoyable and a great one. The arctic and lamb hot dog was my favorite!

We had a great time with Snowy on the food tour yesterday! He was funny, knowledgeable, and a friendly guide, showed us some great restaurants, and of course we got to try a wonderful range of traditional food. Highly recommend this tour to get a taste of Reykjavík and Icelandic history and culture!

The food tour was one of my favorite things we did on our trip. Not only was the food amazing, but our guide Andri (Snowy) was very friendly and knowledgeable and told great stories. He really made the experience the best. It was a rainy and windy day, but I still had a fantastic time.

David Ottars was an excellent guide. He was very passionate about every restaurant we visited. Also he took us to places we really wanted to try including famous hot dog stand, fermented shark and horse. I highly recommend this tour.

What an incredible way to spend a day (or around 3 hours) in Reykjavik. Starting at the gorgeous concert hall, we were all over the downtown area and went to 5 different, delicious spots. The food was unbelievably good, my party was completely out of their comfort zone with the majority of it, but there wasn’t a single dish we weren’t extremely impressed with. There may have been one exception but I won’t spoil that!
The true highlight of our tour however was our tour guide. We were blessed with Andre, or Snowy, who was energetic, excited, and an absolute pleasure to talk to and hear stories from. He truly took the experience from a 10/10 to an 11/10. Couldn’t recommend this tour more to anyone, even if you’ve been to Reykjavik. Thank you for the incredible experience!

The tour was great! Our guide Minty was excellent - fun, knowledgeable and so friendly. All of the food was amazing and several 1st time tastes for me. I couldn’t do the fermented shark ( but the shot that went with it and I drank too early by mistake was yummy!), however, my kids were brave and said it was interesting. All around great evening!

We had a wonderful time on our Food Walk! Our tour guide was Noki, who was very kind and informative about all of the food we ate as well as general info about Iceland. All of the foods we ate were delicious and I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone hoping to learn more about Icelandic culture through food!

Loved this. I would say it is a must do for a first day. Arising, or Arrrrrrrri, was funny, knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and shared his stories in an engaging way. The food was amazing and some of the best we have had on our entire trip. Thanks to Wake Up Rekjavik for putting this on. Everything as advertised: small parties, lots of stories, great trip. Good food. Walk was easy too.
