After disembarking a cruise ship and tour that ended at 1:30 with a flight not until 9 and the bag drop not open until 5, this lounge provided the perfect interim hangout. I used the lovely shower. Miguel A. was extremely helpful. The snacks are limited but can't beat the price when you have nowhere else to go with a shower, drinks and snacks included.

Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I think miss out on that the price and convenience of this was absolutely great! Alcoholic drinks and food was included, and the location was clean and comfortable. My only issue was that it seemed very very popular and was practically full, but it was so much better than waiting in the standard airport area where the chairs were uncomfortable, noisy, and there were several panhandlers that were overly insistent on the "necessity" of my shoes needing to be shined (new balance mesh runners?!) and demanded payment regardless. Would very much recommend, and suspect that having to pay for only 3 hours was mostly due to the popularity. If I were to return I would gladly pay the amount (35USD, but you could get a 35% discount signing up for smart traveller app). Only regret is we didn't make the choice to stay longer (we had a 10hr wait for our flight before the Gate was opened).

Miguel the manager and team provided excellent customer service. Food are prepared hot as you order and not buffet style which makes it special. Coffee was excellent and the variety of drink options alcoholic or non alcoholic.

Nothing special. Minimal food and drink options. This was my second time visiting and both times it was crowded. Some of the furniture is old and broken, also not very clean. If it’s not included in your ticket, it doesn’t worth paying for. Better food and sitting options in the airport. If anything, this lounge is a stressful and crowded place rather than a place to chil before the flight.

Food very bad, no internet. It’s clean, it’s big but is very poor in services , food options, I don’t see the employees. good Luck

The Plaza Premium Lounge had an attractive fit-out and seemed to have a reasonable food and drink offering.We were directed to the lounge as the One-World Lounge (American Airlines-LATAM ) was not open at the time visited. I would not have paid the entrance fee had access ot been free.

Not sure what the problem is with the Plaza Premium lounges at the GIG airport but each time I have used them with my Priority pass membership they tell me my card is no good. The first time I went I stayed at their front desk calling my bank who informed me my card was good. I presented it again and magically it worked. Same thing at their other locations. The front staff are more surly in attitude than American airlines flight attendants. Food is slightly below average. Chairs and spaces spacious and comfortable however a bit worn and dirty. I certainly would not pay to use these facilities.

Tried to get into the Plaza Premium Lounge in Rio de Janeiro's Galeo. The person at the reception, Louis Felipe, told me, I have no access with my American Express Platinum Card, because the AmEx logo is not in the center of the card and only pet, who have the logo in the center are allowed in, because my card is a counterfeit!!!!!! I live in Dubai - there are no AmEx cards with the middle logo issued by the Bahraini provider. It was embarrassing, the guy was unfriendly and arrogant and I feel ashamed of this treatment in this city which I called home for so many years. Totally unacceptable! And NO - I do definitely not want to receive any of the standardized apology reply. To be honest- I hope that I spare other AmEx customers that embarrassment- do yourselves a favor, go somewhere else!

We had access to the lounge courtesy of our flight status and to be honest I wouldn't have paid the £46 admission fee, knowing what I know now. The place is ok, just alright, nothing to shout about and is far better than just waiting at the gate. You have to order soft drinks at the bar which is a bit of a pain if theres a queue. There was a hot / cold buffet selection of pasta and cheese potatoes, lasagne and a meat dish etc. Not too much choice. The lounge is quite spacious
