Additional Information

Not wheelchair accessible

We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines

All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security

Children younger than 6 years old, unaccompanied minors (under 18 years old) and people with reduced mobility are not allowed to go up to the towers

Near public transportation

A maximum of 9 people per booking

As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.

Infants must sit on laps

Due to limited capacity of the elevators, there may be a waiting time between the Basilica and museum guided tour and elevator access. Tower visits will be without a guide. The lift´s operation is subject to cancellation depending on weather conditions and other causes. On the way out of the tower you may need to use the stairs.

Most travelers can participate

Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

Confirmation will be received at time of booking

This review is not about Segrada Familia (which is amazing) but about the tour operator. For whatever reason, Segreda Familia’s system isn’t allowing US credit cards to work. This operator seems to be taking advantage of it, charging 2x the ticket price for maybe 20 min of tour for maybe 20 people. The Segrada’s app’s tour is much better. Basically, the “guide” walked us around part of the Basilica, dumped us at the tower, and then took off. Pick another operator.

We loved the church but were disappointed that in the rain we were unable to go up the tower so we should be getting a partial refund

Sagrada Familia is a work of genius. Not to be missed. In this tour we skipped the lines and got an insider view from the tour guide. I highly recommend this tour.

Friendly and knowledgeable. She insured we were in the correct place to view some special visual aspects. She was efficient and helpful and answered all of our questions. I wish she would have explained that there was the underground display. I believe that is a must see.

This trip was a big disappointment! First we waited for over half an hour in line to even get inside (it supposed to be skip the line ticket!) Second, our guide was disorganized and not very interesting. Third, we paid for going to the top but had to wait in line for more than one hour for the elevator. Also , we only learned about 400 stairs going down just before we stood in line for the elevator. The church itself was magnificent but the amount of people, and groups were overwhelming! For the price I paid i would not recommend this tour.

A nice tour although a larger group than we expected. Meeting at the Julia Travel office is a bit hectic as they run several tours and there is not enough space to stay inside although that is what the staff wants you to do. Once we got going our guide did an excellent job of getting us in and suited up with the whisper systems. His knowledge of the Basilica was great and we saw what we came to see. The best part being the tower access. If you have a backpack make sure you have a 1 euro coin as you will need it for the locker (you get it back when you retrieve your bag). The elevator wait was about 20 minutes. The views were worth it though. Especially when you get to the spiral tower stairs…look down from the top if you dare!! The best time for the light in the basilica is after 4pm and we stayed as long as we could but had another tour and it was cloudy so the light was not ideal but enough.

The Temple of the Sagrada Familia is an amazing construction. The thought that has gone into its design and then the quality of craftsmanship to put the blueprint into practice is just first glass. So pleased we did the guided tour !!!!
