The train takes about ten minutes, and then you will arrive in the stunning coastal town!
Duration: 30 minutes
Stop At: Manarola, Manarola, Cinque Terre, Italian Riviera, Liguria
Manarola is an ancient fishing village famous for its brightly colored homes and pristine white wine! Enjoy marvelous views of its sparkling blue sea, the impeccable homes stacked upon each other, and the green grapevines towering in the distance. Your guide will happily point out the best viewpoints for photos (Manarola is very famous on Instagram, its views are incomparable!). You will have about an hour of free time to explore this picturesque town as you please.

The train ride to Monterosso will take about ten minutes. When you arrive, your guide will give plenty of recommendations for how you can spend your time in Monterosso. This historic fishing town is most famous for its wide, white sand beaches with crystal-clear water. Spend some time exploring the ancient town and indulging in some pesto pasta or delicious seafood for lunch. From Monterosso, you will enjoy a 10 minutes boat ride to head to the nearby town of Vernazza.

Admiring the Cinque Terre hills reflecting on the crystal clear waters of the Ligurian sea will be an experience you will not forget!
You will have about 1 hour of free time in this lovely waterfront town. Make your way to the small, picturesque harbor, also called "the Pearl of Cinque Terre." If you are lucky, you will witness the local fisherman arriving back from their morning fishing in small blue boats. Enjoy the characteristic (and famous) views of Vernazza's emerald water and colorful homes. Spend some time strolling through the ancient streets smelling of fresh focaccia and pesto. If you need any recommendations, your tour leader will be happy to help!

The coastline was beautiful however we spent much of our limited time waiting for trains. It was hugely over crowded in the trains. Steven did a remarkable job at getting us all there and back with the limited time between meeting points.

We were really looking forward to this trip. We had used viator before, no problem .
Our guide was terrible…. We couldn’t understand her, she never explained anything about cinque Terre and just said “ you have an hour here”. Also, she kept getting LOST ( she actually missed a train and left us stranded) and we wasted precious time trying to figure out where to meet etc. It actually became a joke with the entire group. I spent 500.00 on this trip and hope my money is returned. I’m
Not sure if she was filling in for someone who was sick but a beautiful trip turned very badly.

If it wasnt because we didn’t know how to get to Levanto train station. we could have done the “tour” ourselves. The Description indicated we would have a guide through out the process, and of course the guide was nice enough to gather us in order to get in and out of trains and was also very strict with the schedule (this is a good thing). But we never got any context about the towns (we visited 4, and the description never says we will not visit corniglia) not history, not recommendations, not anything, just time and meeting points to get on PUBLIC transportation. I’ve seen cheaper tours that cover the same service and at least are honest about what to expect. The towns are beautiful but it’s dumb to buy a tour and don’t get actually guided throughout the places or told some information about them.

Cinque Terre is a must see and we were lucky to visit 4 of the villages with this tour. The bus was comfortable and the information shared when we were on the bus was interesting. Unfortunately even though we booked an English tour we ended up on a Portuguese/English tour that had a definite bias towards the Portuguese language. Our tour guide Daniella was very nice but because the villages are so busy it was difficult to hear her at times and we had to ask the group around us what information was shared.

I love the experiences. Florence knows what she is doing. I will only have a compliance about the fact that there are more people who speak French than English, but it always looks like we were left off. Otherwise, this was an amazing trip.

Beautiful tour, very friendly tour guides. Only issue is we were combined with spanish, French nd English speakers. Group size was too big. This caused some confusion . Would have been nice if they handed out maps at each village with navigation.
