Itinerary
Upon arrival 15 minutes before the start time, you will check in with the guides at the meeting point at Silfra. Once your group of max 6 people has been formed, your guide will give you your drysuit, warm undersuit and snorkeling equipment. Your guide will explain how to use this equipment and how to ensure that you will be warm and comfortable during your tour. You can change in our heated Changing Van and the guide will help you with putting all the gear on. We recommend wearing long underwear and thick socks.
Your guide will brief you on Silfra and safety as well as information about Thingvellir national park, the tectonic plates and the continents. The briefing and gearing up takes approx 1 hour.
You will walk 5 minutes to Silfra and start your 30 - 45 minute snorkeling tour of Silfra Hall, Silfra Cathedral, and Silfra Lagoon.
After snorkeling in the cold water, we warm you up with hot cocoa and cookies. This is your chance to chat with your guide, ask any questions you might have and take a look at the pics taken during the tour.

Dry suit course : James was a fantastic instructor, gave detailed explanations and personnalized feedback. Those little tips were very helpful to feel at ease in the water.
Looking forward to put all I've learned into practice in my next dives !

It wasn't even too cold! We did the dry suit certification with James and what I loved most is that the atmosphere was so relaxed. We had all the time we wanted and needed to practice, ask questions and talk about many things. Feeling confident to dive in dry suit tomorrow!

Gabe was a great tour guide! Knowledgeable, helpful, and down to have fun on the tour. It felt personalized and all worries were addressed prior to getting into the water. We definitely recommend this tour!

Craziest thing you can do! Best time out! Our guide Konrad was amazing…funny, engaged, and still professional. Snorkelling in 2C degree water is simultaneously ridiculous and brilliant. Do it!

Our guide Konrad made our experience out of this world! He was constantly doing checks on equipment and checking in with us to see if we were OK and having fun. Truly concierge experience!!! I agree with another reviewer that said it is like a lazy river. Pushes you along and you can see forever! Once you get on all the equipment, it really is not that cold. Totally recommend this tour and I am not the bravest in chili weather!

We have been snorkelling all over the world but we have never seen anything like the glacier clear water of Silfra. It was a cloudy day, but it didn’t matter the tour was so beautiful and it felt like entering another dimension when we entered the water.
We had Quim as instructor and he was very pleasant and professional all the way through. We would recommend Dive and Quim any day.

It was an amazing snorkeling tour! James was a lovely guide. He took great care of our safety and he was very eager to make the most funny (and ugly :)) pictures of us.
