After seeing the photos and looking at the site I left feeling rather underwhelmed, went as part of the two parks package and after having a BLAST in the zoo I had high expectations for their water park. Walked into it and seen the vast expanse of blue and the various rides and the excitement was building. It didn’t last long, one of the slides was off, the others were alright, the three big ones get a special mention as they were really the only ones worth using if you’re a thrill seeker, one of the main attractions for me was the deep pool and wave machine, but to my disappointment both were off and the water you could use was only about 1.2 metres deep at the most, the rest was cordoned off, seemed like a waste as I like a good swim and that’s what I was looking forward to the most… deep water I couldn’t stand up in. I paid for the sea lion experience, after watching the group before me do it, found it to be nothing like I was expecting and a bit crinbe to be honest so I passed on that, €50 euro I’m not bothered about losing but yeah, before booking it watch guests videos on it first.

Very impressive animal compounds where there are sometimes a mix of mutual friendly species to help their psychological health. Also the reptile pavilion is excellent and renown for TerraNatura’s research efforts to protect and propagate endangered species.

Booked this in advance through Viator and was honestly the worse park I have ever been to while abroad. We got round the entire park in 30mins we probably spent more time in the taxis to and from the park longer than what we spent in the park. Wouldn't recommend.

Not worth 29 euro each. Food bad quality and cold chips. Animals in poor quality enclosures. 1 cat pacing from side to side which was obviously in distress. More walking paths then actual animals. Don't recommend at all.

Having never taken our kids to a water park before, this one seemed to fit the bill. Our 8 and 11yr olds are both competent swimmers so it was about time that we took them down some slides. After some issues finding the entrance to the park and getting stuck in the Carpark of the safari park next door we finally made it in. No queues and greeted by a very “peppy” assistant. We’d bought the tickets with “skip the line” through Trip Advisor. Printed them out, handed our tickets over and was shown where to go. All seemed good. Unfortunately this wasn’t the case for the rest of the day. The floors were hot - not to be unexpected for the time of year, but the red paint seemed volcanic to walk on with the white floor areas being much more bare-able. The green bits you have to sprint across to prevent 3rd degree burns on the soles of your feet. There are lockers to put your stuff in (charged extra) and our locker door promptly fell off on opening, so ended up having to queue up again and get another locker. Once stowed away, you can jump into the mega pool - lovely pool. Huge and very clean with great PH and Chlorine levels. However if you follow the health and safety signs which say wear suncream, wear sunglasses - you’ll soon get shouted at by a lifeguard to get out of the pool as you’re not allowed to wear sunglasses. Fair enough, quite a good rule. Went back and did the sprint over the hot floor again to stowe the shades. Back for another quick dip and then time for some slides! Well, actually no. Had the dip and then queued and queued and queued waiting for rings. I thought we had skip the line - turns out you have to buy that on site as an extra €5 for each person you want to skip the line for. Once you’ve handed over your ticket at the entrance, that’s it. Everything else is chargeable. Seats/beds/lockers/double rings/single rings oh and don’t forget the parking. Ours cost €10 instead of the advertised €5 as we accidentally went into the nature park carpark first - everything here is an added extra. The only reasonably priced item was the auto vend for water. And whatever you do, don’t leave your ring unattended for 1 second - it will disappear and you’ll lose your deposit and you’ll have to buy another one. All in all, great venue but an absolute stripe up - if you are thinking €28 is the entrance and you are set to go; think again and add another €30 per person. This place is a cash cow and we won’t be going back despite the fact that it’s actually a very good park.

We went to both as part of our package with magic and had we of paid I would of felt ripped off,the zoo took us about forty minutes to walk round and then the water park where you are charged 5 euros for a sunbed, you cannot get food or drinks with your magic pass even at the magic bar and we were rudely turned away after asking why as it says on website we can use the bar for snacks and food We went to mundomar the next day and that blows terra natura out of the water

There were a good range of animals but poorly kept - tiny cages which were cruel and they didn’t look happy. All were just laying down still. There were bats in a cage that was in a cave but had a bright light. Shining on them all - bats are meant to live in the dark?! Really made us sad to see. We left feeling disappointed, angry, sad and we feel we don’t want to go to a zoo again! I understand animals in a zoo have to be in cages but the sizes were ridiculous!!! Poor animals!!
