Michael was an excellent guide - he had a telescope he could set up for us to see interesting birds, and our spotter at Spring Paradise made sure we saw the animals we were most interested in (frogs and sloths). Lunch was absolutely delicious.

We were staying at a resort and wanted to see "real" Costa Rica. Our guide, Gino, did not disappoint! The tour was exactly what we were looking for! We saw a handful of Toucans, a baby sloth, tree frogs, an eyelash pit viper and so much flora and fauna. Gino was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Costa Rica, and full of interesting facts about the rainforest and all the areas we visited. The waterfall was an amazing place to swim and a magnificent view. And the coffee and chocolate were the best we came across in Costa Rica. And we ended with a traditional Costa Rican lunch, which was far superior to the resort food. We had an amazing day with our amazing guide!

Carlos was so informative about the area. Provided information about the areas we were driving through. Very knowledgeable about Costa Rica in general. The authentic Costa Rican lunch provided (at a local restaurant) was amazing. Fruit stand was amazing. Took us for a stop at the liquor store and souvenir shop. Would highly recommend!!

Our tour with Carlos was fabulous! Carlos was knowledgeable about the region and pointed out several interesting sites on our way to the multiple sites we visited. Waterfall tour was beautiful. Carlos took our pics and we swam in the water. Rainforest walking tour was fun and we saw a sloth close up. Lunch in town was delicious and topped it off with the chocolate / coffee tour. I highly recommend Pure Nature and Carlos as our driver and guide.

This was such a fun day. Mike was awesome in making sure we all had a fun day. It was a small group which was nice. I was solo on this excursion and Mike was a great photographer for me! The waterfall was absolutely beautiful. A little bit of a hike down, but don't be detoured, most anyone can make the climb back up. Mike and Angelica were great at pointing out all the wildlife at the sloth sanctuary. Lunch was delicious and we ended in with the coffee and chocolate tasting. Costa Rican coffee really is some of the best. If you book this, which you should, ask for Mike. He will make the day that much better.
