Enjoy a fun day out on the ocean, engaging with turtles, marine life and nature with our ecologically conscious Swim with Turtles Tour!
Our tour begins with a 20min boat ride to Cook Island Aquatic Reserve (Joongurra-Narrian). The reserve lies approximately 600m off the shore of Fingal Head, NSW. It is a foraging ground to a significant number of sea turtles. The numbers are so significant that the island was originally named Turtle Island. It is here that we will dive in and meet these turtally awesome locals! The surrounding waters of the reserve are also home to a wide variety of subtropical and temperate species of fish, crustaceans, and rays – just to name a few! Prepare to be awed by the magical underwater world that lies here on our doorstep!
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you wish to cancel or reschedule your tour, you must contact us by phone at least 24 hours before your tour start time. Late cancellations are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.
REFUND POLICY: We are unable to refund the booking or card fees you may incur if a full refund is granted.

Had a great morning boating past the dolphins and snorkelling with beautiful turtles and fish. Thanks to Joel and Gemma who are friendly, knowledgeable and excellent guides who sincerely care for the environment. Very much recommended

Fabulous, helpful, and accommodating tour guides. They were thorough in preparing travellers for the experience. The boat ride was fun, and we saw dolphins on the way to the island. While snorkeling, we saw a variety of fish and three large turtles.

A fabulous experience. The crew were wonderful and so helpful, and there were so many gorgeous turtles up close. We were lucky to also get a whole pod of dolphins nearby. Great to have an activity my 3 kids aged 14-21 could all enjoy together. I'd highly recommend and would do again :)

WOW! Phenomenal experience. Cannot recommend highly enough. Georgie and Lachie were extremely professional and knowledgeable. A once in a lifetime experience. Saw heaps of turtles and a pod of dolphins along the way. Perfect for whole family - our 2 girls 11&14) loved it too.

Absolutely fantastic. Saw beautiful turtles, fish, coral reef and plenty of playful dolphins. Georgie was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The skipper was fantastic. Wetsuits and dive gear was first rate. Had a terrific time. Highly recommend.

Great time swimming with the turtle. Guides were really friendly and made it easy for our 15year old to be comfortable getting in the water. Would recommend it as a must do.

I was amazed at the diversity of marine life we saw on the trip. We were fortunate to have had the most stunning day and good visibility. It is amazing getting so close to the turtles and we even saw some dolphins too which was a bonus. The crew were very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely the highlight of our Gold Coast trip.

They are LEGIT. This is one of the best tours I've ever been on. Lachy and Joel were so friendly and chill. The boat and its seats are awesome. We saw dozens of turtles. And all in the same spot so you can swim amongst a cluster of them ❤️ Some were massive! We also saw a Leapard shark and Wabbegong (completely harmless). A dolphin was jumping right next to our boat at the start, too! I've snorkelled all over the world, and I've never had such a great turtle experience.
