This was a phenomenal, once in a lifetime experience!! Our guide, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable, patient & interesting. We were a group of 2 couples with our 4 early 20s kids and everyone agreed that this was an awesome experience. We got lucky & had a sunny, warm day, but make sure you have good hiking boots, layers & some water resistant clothing since it rains a lot here!!

Fantastic hike! Getting to be on a glacier that I've only seen in photos was something else. I took my friend who is sometimes nervous to do big outdoor activities and she absolutely loved it, perfect for family and friends. Our tour guide Louis was also a blast. 10/10 experience

Unfortunately we couldn’t do this trip in 2022 due to extreme weather, so we came back to Iceland this Easter and this was one of the main reasons. It did not disappoint, the guide was great, the views amazing and just a magical experience. The fact the glaciers are melting is something we need to wake up to, and to see the marks of where it once was up close is memorable. The hike is tiring but worth it

Great experience. Walked onto a glacier with a small group of twenty-somethings (I'm almost 60, and not really fit). I did manage to keep up! Highly recommended.

Hiking on the glacier was spectacular. Our guide Katarina was quite the glacier expert. She was very knowledgeable. It is a pretty strenuous hike, so be in good shape. Would definitely do again.

Really fun! Guide was great and helped us get past more difficult terrain. Didn't actually get to go in an ice cave but, walking on top of the glacier was really cool.

Our guide Nate was fantastic from his intro. on the history and future life of the glacier to safety precautions. He was so engaging in his narration keeping us entranced and interested in every aspect of these wondrous surroundings. We felt safe and at the same time fascinated every step of the way under his guidance. The tour was fun, breathtaking and educational.

Climbing on, through, and in a glacier was an experience I'll never forget!! The beauty and power of nature left us in such awe. We took our tour with Nate, who was a fantastic guide! He explained everything clearly, was patient, and took our safety seriously. We were very happy with our tour, and would not hesitate to book another with Troll!
