This tour did not start off well. I arrived 15 minutes early to find that the tour had left a few minutes earlier. Due to a mix-up, they had not received my confirmation, even though I'd booked it months earlier. The offered to put me on the tour the next morning, even though it wasn't really convenient. As I was walking away, the lady from the office flagged me down to tell me that the van was just around the corner, and that I could join the tour.
Elvis the tour guide was very amiable and knew his facts regarding the Sound of Music sights in and around Salzburg. We saw the graveyard, the house where the kids went into the water, the gazebo, the church from the wedding, and the steps from do re mi. I highly recommend this small group tour

The tour provided by Bobs tours and our guide Bruno was excellent. We wanted a more private experience and Bruno and the team did that. There were seven of us and we absolutely loved the commentary, the sites and Bruno’s knowledge of the movie and the area. The music was a plus!

Great tour of the Sound of Music locations. Our tour guide Franziska was terrific. She gave us so much information about Salzburg, the story of the real Trapp family, the behind the scenes story of the making of the movie,and a little gossip thrown in. The weather was awful but we totally enjoyed the drive to Mondsee with the movie soundtrack playing the whole way. We were all singing along to the music. Great way to see parts of the city and to see the hills come alive with the sound of music!

A grreat knowledge of the movie, including dates, actors and the behind the scenes stories. Comical and pleasant, Bruno was a great guide and very flexible for our drop off. Thanks to all, we enjoyed the tour, would have been more enjoyable if weather would have cooperated !

This was really an enjoyable experience and worth every cent within 2 hours of the 4 hour tour. Peter was a walking encyclopedia and very humorous. His Austrian roots brought the tour additional perpestive. This tour is a no-brainer. Enjoy!

We had great weather for this experience and we loved our guide, Bruno. Before booking the tour, we read the reviews and it is true that you cannot go inside a lot of the "iconic" settings for the movie. For example, Captain Von Trapp's home is now a private hotel, the field on top of the mountains where Maria and the children have a picnic is privately owned, etc. But we were very happy with the sights that we did get to see. The van was comfortable and we could hear the tour guide very well (there were some reviews that stated that the sound system was broken, but that was not true for us). Bruno was incredibly knowledgeable about the movie and I learned a lot about how the movie was filmed and the international public response to it. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves the Sound of Music!

We had a small group of 4 on our tour. Our guide, Franziska, took us to see more sites than we were expecting. All were amazing. And she shared some stories of when the movie was made. A great tour!!

Excellent tour with a knowledgeable and enjoyable tour guide. We were able to visit so many areas where the movie was filmed, including the cathedral where the wedding was filmed. I highly recommend this tour if you are a Sound of Music fan!!

Good knowledgeable driver, small group so easy access to some places between stops. Got to see many of the locations but the wedding scenes church was awesome
