Stop At: Salisbury, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England

After travelling through the stunning countryside and villages of Wiltshire, we arrive for a short photo stop in the charming town of Salisbury. We walk through the Medieval St Ann's Gate and the cathedral close, seeing an impressive collection of historic buildings, and then take time to admire its impressive tower and spire - at 404 feet the tallest in the country - constructed in a short space of time from 1220 to 1258. We then enter the cloisters, built from 1261, and the largest in the country, to complete our walk. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to enter Salisbury Cathedral on this tour.

Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: Stonehenge, Salisbury SP4 7DE England

On the way to our second stop if the day, Stonehenge, your guide will tell you of he many myths, legends and facts behind one of the greatest mysteries of the prehistoric world. Was it a temple, a clock, a burial site? Decide for yourself as you walk around the stones.

You'll have the chance to visit this world famous monument from 4-5,000 years ago and still have enough time for the gift shop or a quick coffee. You'll also have the chance to explore the new visitor centre and neolithic village.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Windsor Castle, Castle Hill, Windsor SL4 1PD England

Almost 1,000 years of royal history are waiting for you at Windsor Castle, perched high above the River Thames and the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Home to British Monarchs for one thousand years and the official residence of Queen Elizabeth II, the Castle remains a working palace to this day.

See the splendour of St. George’s chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. The guide will not enter Windsor Castle with you - you will receive a personal audio guide on admission so you can take in Windsor Castle at your own pace.

Our guide John was wonderful. He could have slowed the walking pace and given a heads up about the hugh amount of stairs at Windser Castle there were multiple older guests.

The tour guide Nigel was very informative. Enjoyed exploring around Stonehenge. Windsor was nice but would have liked a little more time to explore this.

We loved all of the sights of this tour! We saw the Salisbury cathedral, Stonehenge and Windsor castle! Just not enough time to see Windsor castle. We had to choose between the staterooms and the chapel and absolutely no time for anything around the castle. I would definitely recommend seeing Windsor on your own. Our guide, Nigel, and our drivers John and Sharon were amazing!

Great tour and to top it off the weather was lovely with plenty of blue skies. Nigel was a great guide who spoke clearly. He was very informative and interesting. Even plugged in a few corny jokes. We switched from the large bus to a very nice shuttle van on our last stop which took us to our different hotels. Unfortunately I didn't get our new driver's name. He was extremely polite, charming and informative as we drove thru London center. Such a gentleman from who was originally from Bonaire. Overall this was a great tour and so happy we booked it.

My husband and I took this post-cruise tour. We highly recommend it! Our tour guide, Andrew, was on time at the port pickup as well as each tour exit time. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable about the tour sights, surroundings countryside, and history. We were dropped off at Heathrow perfectly on time. Just can't say enough about Andrew and this tour! Spectacular!

Stonehenge was the highlight of this trip. I found the guide, whilst knowledgeable, talked way too much and repeated everything 3- 4 times.

Any tour of Windor Castle and Stonehenge is gonna be spectacular. If you are looking for reliable, safe and easy Jon and Zach are the guys for you. Being new to travel abroad, I'm still a little nervous about getting places. Jon was waiting for us at the Southampton Cruise Terminal with his sign...organized and ready to go. Any questions I had prior to the tour were answered promptly. Viator has not let me down yet!

I have to agree with Familytraveler69’s review. Rushed and minimal guidance. Salisbury was a waste of time - very rushed. Stonehenge was perfect - the amount of time here allowed us to enjoy the attraction and not feel rushed. Windsor was just strange. Our guide was either guiding, talking on his cell (apparently there was an issue with the feeder vehicles that we are split up into for drop off) or reminding us that we could explore on our own. We eventually left the “tour” and just had lunch. The drop off was awful. We were dropped off approximately 2 miles from our Airbnb. The company had communicated with me about the location and we were aware that they were not able to drop us off on the actual street that the Airbnb was located by that they would get us as close as possible. Two miles was not what I would consider close. Especially as the cross street less than a block from the Airbnb was where we were picked up and dropped off by all other drivers during our London stay. If you are staying in a hotel on their list or going to the airport you should be fine.
