We really enjoyed the experience, it was very easy traveling from start to finish between islands, our guide was Jett who was really interesting and knew a lot of information on the islands, he made it more enjoyable by being funny in the way he told stories rather than just lecturing us like a teacher

Despite the weather being a little cold and damp, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. We arrived at the ferry terminal earlier than anticipated having walked from our Mid-Town hotel. Fortunately as the earlier ferry was not full we we welcomed on board and thereby avoided an hour's wait. The Statue of Liberty was very impressive and one can only wonder at it's impact on all those people whose first sight of the USA included the statue. The views back to the New York skyline are quite impressive too. From the Statue it's a short crossing to Ellis Island where the story of the early immigrants to the USA is brilliantly told and depicted. The artefacts such as luggage bags which were sometimes nothing more than a bundle of belongings tied up in a blanket are a timely reminder that mass migration is not a 21st Century phenomenon. At the same time the migrants became the pioneers of a new nation where hard work and initiative is rewarded, and the skyscraper-dominated Manhattan skyline visible from Ellis Island bear testimony to this. If you're interested in how people build nations this trip is well worth doing.

Very knowledgeable
My only thought might be trimming some detail. Every piece of history is interesting, but the standing while listening sometimes felt tough.

JAMES was our tour guide. Shout out for his amazing skill leading our group. I loved learning about Battery Park, The Statue of Liberty, and Ellis Island. But that’s not all, he gave us valuable information about other areas of interest in and around New York City. I recommend “James” for others who want to experience the best way to visit the Statue and Ellis Island.

Good tour, guide Anthony was terrific, great speaker and excellent managing of the group.
We found Ellis island underwhelming and were expecting a different experience there.
We really liked the Statue of Liberty visit and history.
I expect this would be very busy during summer tourist peak season.
