Puppies! We had so much fun meeting the puppies and their momma as well as the resident Golden Retriever. The “sled” pulling ride was a blast! They pulled us through beautiful country and mud puddles ( we put our feet up and didn’t get muddy) the dogs listened well and knew their jobs. The lead dog chewed free of his harness and it was so funny to watch him run ahead and then come back to make sure they were all following him. You could tell that the dogs loved running and pulling us. And of course, the 5 puppies were the icing on the cake! Would definitely do this excursion again.

The ride to the camp was informative. The dogs were well cared for and so much fun to interact with. You don't often see a group of adults that happy at the same time! Highly recommend!

Noah noah noah, if any of the guides get better than he is, then this company has the secret sauce to be around forever. Thanks for showing us how much you love Alaska! That is how guides should be made. His knowledge, his experience, and love of the dogs and people shine through in the way he shows visitors, ALASKA. We even got to see a black bear

The bus ride to the dog camp was beautiful! It was mid Sept. and was cold and rainy with clouds along the tops of the mountains. Noah did a great job teaching us about the area but he also really liked to talk and shared too many irrelevant stories. Our favorite part was playing with the month old huskies and then having the adult dogs "pull" us in the ATV. The dogs were SO excited! I am giving my review 4 out of 5 stars because we were disappointed that we were not taught anything at the dog camp. We just arrived, played with the puppies, went for a ride and then left. No one working there talked to us except the gift shop lady because I asked her some questions. I was expecting a mini presentation of their camp or at least the guy driving the ATV could have shared some info but he only talked to the dogs. Fortunately the night before we had Libby Riddles, Idotarod winner, as a guest speaker on our cruise ship. Otherwise we would have gone back home with still very little knowledge of sled dogs. This excursion seemed overprice for what it was but I'm still glad we did it.

This was a wonderful tour. Michaela picked us up on time at the designated spot and off we went. She was very informative with info and tales of her experiences and how living in Skagway just for the tourist season works. We went directly to the Dog Camp where we were able to visit with 4 week old puppies before they hooked up 12 dogs to the 'sled' and took us on a ride. This was a great tour as it was a small group split into two 'sleds' for the rides and after we stopped at a couple of locations on the ride back to town for pictures. We were dropped off in town as requested perfectly on time. I would definitely recommend this tour when you visit Skagway!

My adult daughter and I went on this excursion from our cruise ship. We loved that it was a small group (6). the transportation was marvelous, driver shared a to of info along the way. It was fantastic to interact with a true Iditarod participant who also imparted a lot of her actual experiences. We were most looking forward to this activity on our entire week in Alaska and it did not disappoint!

Amazing opportunity to see the Alaskan Husky sled dogs. Multiple stops to see so much beauty in Alaska. Noah, the guide, was so much fun. The summer dog sled ride was fun, but would have liked it to be longer and through more terrain. The pups were magical!
