We surf in small groups (maximum 5), starting with important surf and safety rules and covering all the basics from warm-up to paddling, catching waves and standing. Caught the surfing bug? Try out our three lesson package

This is a bit of a love letter to Let’s Go Surfing, but if you want a fun, welcoming and inspiring entry into surfing, you’ll get it here.
I’ve done a whole bunch of surf lessons since starting to try and catch waves and had always struggled and wanted to give up, thinking it probably wasn’t for me. The team at Let’s Go Surfing absolutely turned that around for me though. I went solo, and the welcoming atmosphere makes you feel comfortable and part of the gang from the off. Every single member of the team are literal angels on earth, so friendly and so patient, consistently taking the time for each individual to help improve their particular area of struggle. You won’t just get a standard cut and paste session, the support and knowledge goes beyond just getting you to stand up on a board and catch a wave. You can pick their beautiful brains for tips on reading waves, conditions, paddle techniques, etc. The team’s passion for surfing is clear, and makes each session an informative joy to be part of. With the help of this smart, kind and talented bunch I’ve not become the most skilled and stylish surfer by any means but I’m confident to get out there with everything I’ve learned and go it solo. If you’re in Sydney for a while you’ll soon become addicted and if you do, I’d highly recommend their 6 week course which has also found me a solid friendship group to talk surfing and go out and support in the water with 💕

This was the first time my 15 year old son had been surfing. He enjoyed the whole experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, the instruction was top class and the experience in the water was exhilarating. The length of the lesson was ideal because it taught enough skills to be able to go away and practice. We had a second lesson later in the week and this worked out very well to get the most out of the experience.

We arrived slightly late for our booking, but nonetheless we were greeted with smiles. They quickly set us up with wet suits and boards and walked us right to the beach. Our instructor, Leo, was absolutely amazing. His instruction made what would normally be an intimidating activity for beginners, into something easily understandable and accessible. This is a must do when you are in Sydney. Ask for Leo!!

Fun time. Was taken a little too serious for my liking. Would have liked the pace to be a bit slower so the session felt more enjoyable rather than a super intense workout. But I understand some people would prefer this! Thanks for the class!

10/10 experience. Great instructions by our instructor Gui. Fun and highly recommend. We will definitely do again next visit. Bondi Beach is amazingly beautiful

Being someone who's never skateboarded or snowboarded, I wasn't putting much stock into the thought of being able to do much with a surfing lesson. But, when in Bondi, we had to try. Our guide Mischa was fantastic. It was poor weather that day, raining hard and a little chilly, but he did a great job keeping everything loose and gave our group a solid safety briefing and intro surfing lesson. Once in the water, which was nice and warm, the surf was awesome. Constant waves, but none too high that it was ever intimidating. We al took turns getting set up with our boards and riding waves, and to my surprise my wife and I managed to get up and ride waves all the way to shore. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to try surfing again at some point!

Apart from the beautiful location, this is a must if you’re visiting Bondi beach. I had so much fun learning to surf, and our instructor was great. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The location is easy to find, and the price is reasonable.
