As with most paid adventures there is Good and Bad. Devil is ALWAYS in the details, which I always wish I knew this stuff before I signed up TA reviewers hardly ever list this important information in one place that everyone should know if they decide to do this climb. This is OUR experience. BAD... - This is a private company not affiliated whatsoever with Sydney Harbor Bridge Authority - Communication with check in staff or over phone is Pitiful at best. Our package included pylon tower, not clear how it all worked of when can use this part of ticket / hours /where to go. What time to arrive for bridge tour, after check in where to go to start tour (simply no system in making everything clear of happenings you are about to experience) While apologetic, staff are simply not helpful unless you ask the right questions. - ALL Climbs are Crazy Expensive (once in lifetime experience though) - If weather is BAD! UP TO 90KM winds or if solid rain/ fog in Harbor where NOTHING is Visible... You are going... or forfeit 50% of the gouging prices they charge. Tours fill up months in advance... so need to Pre book and is Riskey $$. - No cameras/ phones, go pro, watches or anything on your body or your wrist! , You Can Not carry ANYTHING ! You MUST change into jumpsuit with safety gear. They check your wrist to prove you are not carying ANYTHING Just to be sure ... as in a airport and have to go thru metal dedector becuse they DO NOT TRUST YOU!. - They do Breathalyzer to make sure you have NOT been drinking - This tour from time you arrive till you depart is over 3 hours - There are( 3) 15 foot VERY STEEP ladders that you have to climb up and down backwards. Ladders can be unnerving especially in dark or when it is wet or raining. - YOU CAN WALK ACROSS THE HARBOR BRIDGE FOR FREE Great way to spend a nice sunny day or evening Take your camera have an bypassing tourist take picture of same view you get if you pay the $450. GOOD/GREAT: - JIMMY was our Bridge Guide. We wore headsets and was extremely knowledgeable about the Bridge, Fun facts about Sydney as we walked. Jimmy was professional had a great personality and sense of humor! Jimmy DID NOT KNOW the fun fact that the “locals” called the Sydney Opera House nickname was "NUNS PLAYING FOOTBALL" which was popular in 90's when Catholic Nuns use to ware white habits on their heads(this is no longer the case) James is a young man and apparently never encountered a " catholic nun" before :). - except for the ladder section the climb is VERY EASY to walk. no exertion is required Just have to duck few times crossing metal pylons. - Spend 1/2 hour stopping and viewing the Harbor from the bridge from both sides. - Have a photo package and the pictures came out great. You get all digital pictures your guide takes, if you buy the photo package (money grab). Photos are must if you make the effort and spend the monies to do the climb in first place. - It is FUN! Once in lifetime experience! If you find this review helpful in any way please give it a thumbs up!

I bought my husband and son (10 years old) tickets for the harbour bridge climb and they had a fantastic time. The staff were amazing with my son - he was the youngest person doing the climb in their group but they made him feel at ease and both of them loved it.

Fantastic views, history about the bridge construction and a small workout, what’s not to like about the climb ?! I just wish it was less expensive so we could bring all visiting family up there

In 2017 I sent my husband and two of my teenage children on the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb while I waited below because I was too scared of heights to try it (my first visit to the top of Eiffel Tower had me clinging to my husband in fear). My daughter has treasured that photo ever since. After going up in various Ferris wheels versions (London Eye, Southern Star, Singapore flyer) I decided that enough was enough and it was time to conquer my fears. I had decided it to do it six months ago but on that Sydney visit it was just wet and windy and it wasn't the time to go on it then. We are Australian and I do consider this a top level experience in our own country though it is expensive! I was feeling cowardly and would have liked my husband there with me but at around $350 for the climb (I was at the cheaper part of the day) when he had already made the climb I decided to go by myself if they had space. So I rocked up on a sunny and not windy Friday around midday with an attitude I either got it or I was saved from my fears. I got the 1:05 pm spot and there were only 6 climbers and no groups on either side so we had a leisurely climb with a lovely informative guide from Mexico who had spent COVID lockdown in Sydney and had wonderful English. You are not allowed to take your own cameras, phone or smartwatch (so those 1,000 odd steps will not count). They do a scan to make sure that you don't have those on you. They also breathalyse you so don't drink beforehand. The costume feels quite baggy but adjusts when you get your harness. Unlike when my family went, the safety briefing and checks seemed to go quite fast. You will have to buy their photos and videos if you want any. If you decide to do so have something preplanned for the two short videos they take. You do get to keep the cap for free though. There were still flutters in my tummy as I initially went up but it is so safe. You attach your line to the safety line and, while it occasionally catches, you always have that lifeline. There are four stairways to overcome - go up frontways as you go up and backwards when you return (as per boats and they make you practice beforehand). We had a lovely time at top to see the view. There are now multiple options to make the climb. The ultimate will take you the entire breath of the bridge, an insider option and the standard one I am used to, and did, called the summit. Twilight and Dawn experiences are more expensive (though we heard from people they are really worthwhile) while Night and Day are cheaper. It is expensive, no doubt, but I am so glad I finally did it.

Outstanding experience with a very high standard on safety and a very good introduction. We took the Summit Night Tour and it was just spectacular. Many thanks to our great guide who was very well informed about the Bridge and its history and also took care of the participants who have fear of heights (including me).

Amazing experience. I am terrified of heights and I did this and am so proud of myself. Overall fun experience from start to finish. The briefing, the breathalyzer, the metal detector, to the harness - everything was fun and engaging. Now, not to say that other Guides or Leaders are not fun, BUT, we had COOPER! Cooper was so high energy, and so much fun to have leading our group... I cannot imagine going with anyone else. Cooper has an amazing sense of humour and fun personality. Cooper learned all our names in very short order - this is something that I am sure not all guides accomplish. This just made it more personal to be called by name. Absolutely a must do if you are in Sydney. The views from the top are outstanding. I did the full climb so you are out on the bridge at various levels and areas for 2 hours or a bit longer. Many stops to catch your breath and take in the scenery. It is physically demanding especially the ladders. They are a bit scary and there are five or so that you go up (and down) all at once to get to the upper top arches. There are other stairs/ladders, but the bulk of the time you are doing the stairs on the arches and they are easy... however the next day you will feel it in your calfs. Again - Shout Out to COOPER. Can't say enough about how great you made the experience. I will remember this forever and you were a big part of why it was so memorable. Thanks Cooper.

Absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Trent, was calm, warm and very attentive. The tour provides a perfect mix of local history, geography, and the engineering feat literally below your feet. Trent’s anecdotes and relaxed delivery brought the history to life. I was quite nervous about the height but I ended up feeling confident in the solid structure and safety procedures and was generally too busy listening to the great info and looking out over the harbour to worry about it.
