Somerset Winery is where we arrange a production tour for every time slot of our Traditional Wine Tour. Someset is unique because is it the only winery in southern California (and one of only 8 wineries in the U.S.) which produce wine through the ancient terra-cotta process which started in Persia over 8,000 years ago. The process involves fermentation inside large clay vessels which avoids producing tannins from the traditional oak barrels, and instead gives the wine a more all-natural taste. Many wine enthusiasts say that this is the most pure way to make wine, but you will have to determine that for yourself once your take our wine tour!

Loved location where tables were reserved. Probably would appreciate if sat with entire group at others. Overall, good locations, would have loved to do more wineries.

we have been to many tours Mark & Calvin made our experience by far the best one! I lost my very valuable and expensive sunglasses. Mark went above and beyond to get them back for me. Calvin was the party of the bus. We will definitely recommend them to friends & family. We are already planning our next trip to book with them! You guys have a great team! Thank you Mark & Calvin!!

We were disappointed in the tour as a whole. The first stop at Callaway was excellent. Each stop after, there was a decline in wine offerings and customer service. We were told there would be a tour at the 3rd stop and that did not happen due to shortage of staff. In my opinion they could have made it happen. Calvin was a very nice driver, but he was not a regular tour guide. The company chose to give the female tour guides off for Mother's Day weekend. Therefore we did not have a regular tour guide on the trip. Nice gesture, but not fair to paying customers.

We girlfriends had a BLAST!! A day filled with friends laughter and wine… so perfect!! The bus tour was more fun than we had ever imagined!! Thank you!!!

Would book directly! $50 cheaper & Viator doesn’t even manage your reservation. I had to to contact the tour guides to add another person to the reservation. The SoCal wine employees were awesome, viator however doesn’t even manage your reservation & makes you pay $50 more

It was a bit chaotic. I wish that there was more disclosure on the number of tastings we were going to do. Apparently the wineries stop at 6 or 7, depending on the winery, so we only got 2 out of an expected 3 wineries. Total time excluding dinner was just under 4 hours.

This is out first time taking a Wine Tour and we had an amazing time during the tour, we did the Evening Tour with Dinner (4pm-9pm), highly recommended. Our tour guy was Mark, he did an excellent job as a driver and host, we learned a lot from him regarding the wineries we visited. The wineries we visited had great wines, really good vibes and the live music was fantastic. Plus everyone in the wineries were really friendly and welcoming. The dinner was really good. My wife and I enjoyed this tour a lot and look forward to booking a different tour in the future.
