Enjoy a 3 hr. cruise in Faxaflói bay in search for whales and other wildlife. Stunning views on the horizon and excellent onboard services provided. Feel free to borrow our overalls to stay warm on the outside deck.
Most common whales we encounter are humpback whales and minke whales, although other species make their way into the bay a handful of times a year. If no whales or dolphins make an appearance on the tour, we will offer you to try again another day, free of charge!

Please note that our fleet is not completely wheelchair accessible as there are steep stairs between lower and upper decks and high thresholds to get from the decks into the saloon as well as from the saloon to the toilets.
Wheelchair users are welcome to bring a foldable chair onboard our bigger boats, but if possible, please advise our office prior to departure as we may need to assist with boarding.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

I was a bit hesitant to do this tour given it would be the longest I’d ever been on a boat in open water, but it didn’t disappoint! Milla and her team provided us with an abundance of information about the cetaceans and birds we encountered, as well as Iceland in general. My friend and I were going to be happy seeing even the smallest bit of a cetacean, but we were beyond delighted to see multiple pods of white-beaked dolphins, a couple of minke whales, and a few harbor porpoises. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity that we were so happy to be a part of. The great hot chocolate in the saloon toward the end of the tour just sealed the deal! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, especially with Elding. After this tour, my friend and I went to the Whales of Iceland Museum only to find out that Elding is one of biggest providers of cetacean research here in Iceland. They truly care about the animals and want what’s best for them. This was even shown when we would move away to other areas of the bay in order to not overwhelm the animals when other boats would come closer.

We went on a whale watching trip and had a fantastic trip. The weather was good, there were many whales, and the ship was comfortable with plenty of space outside to enjoy the weather and see the whales.

We did the Classic Whale Watching Tour for three hours. The tour itself was fine, but the wildlife was amazing to see! I think that if the tour company would put in effort to give more information about the dolphins and whales and even the climate/environment of Iceland that it would have made the tour experience better. Having looked into it, I would recommend the premium option since the boat is faster so you can go between wildlife areas easier. If you tend to get sea sick, the classic option is good because the boat is huge and you did not feel the waves too much.

The tour was nice, shipnand crew was too. Wish it were more seats and not broken jumpsuits. Bar staff done Excellent work, safe with other staff too

We had a wonderful day on the sea. The sun was shining and the sea was fairly calm. The views of the mountains were amazing. We got to see Minke whale and Humpback whale. The guides did a good job.

Well-organized sail. The staff was very customer service oriented and friendly. The guide knew what they were talking about and the boat was clean and nice. Can easily recommend this sustainable sail.
