Saving me time and money by guiding us through the energetic maze that is metropolitan Tokyo, my guide Maika also provided great insight into our stops along the way. Without her help, I would have spent too much time figuring out what subway station to transfer at or what direction to head once back up at street level. This service would be of great benefit to anyone visiting Tokyo for the first time.

Takanari Uchida was an excellent 5 stars tour guide. He had so much knowledge in so many areas. We had the most delicious sushi 🍣 so fresh and very affordable price(5 stars) experience! To top it off with yummy matcha / tiramisu ice cream. We also visited Harajuka. , Shinjuku. He also explained the Japanese Kabuki & Noh arts. It’s so interesting. Takanari is also a Ramen master & Noh art master. He is so patience with us , answering all our questions with a smile :-). We learned so much in a day. My children are very happy enjoying 4 hours walking tour with Mr. Taka. We will come back again and hire Mr. Taka as our tour guide to visit other area in Tokyo. Also highly recommend his service to anyone who needs an excellent tour guide 💯

Taka was our tour guide for a four our highlights tour of Tokyo. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and was very helpful assisting us with any questions we had. Taka recommended a great sushi restaurant for us that evening, which we really enjoyed. You also have the flexibility to let Taka know what you would like to visit or leave it to him. We had a great afternoon.

Taka provided an excellent four hour tour. He is highly knowledgeable about his beloved city and has a great knowledge of the history and culture. He speaks excellent English and we will try to use him again before we return home.

We booked an 8 hour tour with Hyuga as we only had one day in Tokyo. It was amazing from start to finish as we could not have seen so many places on our own. The pace was just right, we never felt rushed and Hyuga answered our many questions. He was very kind to find a place for lunch which met my gluten free dietary requirements (often difficult in Japan). We would absolutely recommend Hyuga for a personalised guided tour!

Taka was an excellent guide. He runs the company and is very friendly. He was quick to assess our interests and is constantly looking for matching of philosophies, very Japanese approach. He spent time in California, our home, so he connected well, especially with the young adults in our family. Would recommend for 20 somethings. Best Ramen spot on our trip with Taka.

Hyuga was our guide and he was excellent, very friendly and easy to talk with.He had thoroughly researched our requests, including vegan food, and had an itinerary ready for us to follow very quickly. Our meal was superb and the areas we were taken to were explained clearly, whether it was Shrines, Temples or shopping areas. I would recommend Hyuga to anyone wanting a more personalised view of Tokyo.
