The tour group was way too large for my liking, the Yeoman did speak loud but could not always hear him. Good grasp of the history though, I eventually just did a self tour.

The Crown Jewel exhibit was probably the best part of the tower of London. The guided tours are very short and even more graphic.

The tower was a fun experience. However, we arrived for our timed visit and anyone who wanted a beefeater tour was told to wait in mote area. I assumed as about 100 people gathered that we would be split into groups with different beefeaters. However we were not. We couldn’t hear anything they said and it was one beefeater for 100 people. We broke off and paid for the headset and did our own tour. Still very interesting but not what we expected. I would recommend going as we enjoyed our time. But know that if it is busy you will not get the recommended beefeater experience.

We were awed by the Tower of London’s remarkable history. Each stone tells a story, each view is breathtaking. It’s a journey back in time, a must-see for every couple!

The tour was interesting, the visit of the crown jewels is a bit overrated, but there is a lot more to see at the tower so all in all a fine experience

The beefeater tour with BARNEY was excellent, he made it so enjoyable to listen to and quite a character, very knowledgable. Would recommend, only downside was all the steps but we managed.

This is so worth the money we spent 5 hrs wandering around the grounds and rooms. If you love history this is just the place. I have visited before but my husbands first time and he loves it. Plenty of snack carts around and a huge cafe with great selection (expensive but it’s London) My favourite is the Crown Jewels we waited until lunch to go here as there was very little queue but you have to move fast in here so the line goes quickly. One of London’s main attraction and all tourists should save time for this

Very interesting tour. The Beefeater tour that begins the tour is very crowded, and the Beefeater guide, even though he has a very loud voice, can be hard to hear with the large crowd of people that are typically in a the group. But, what we could hear was very informative and entertaining. After the Beefeater presentation, individual time to explore.

It was an absolutely awesome visit. My sister and I had a wonderful time there. Midweek visit was clearly a good choice, not crowded at all. We saw the Crown Jewels and had a very informative chat about them with one of the security staff. We took a guided tour with a Yeoman guard, and he introduced himself as Shady Lane (Andy), I believe. He was informative, patient, funny, eloquent, and professional. Please thank him again from a couple of ex QA's. Highly recommended. I noted some very well run school activities, too, with interactive experiences for children. The café was very good, with a good selection of diverse choices in a large, clean, and pleasant environment. For London, we thought the prices were very reasonable. The, inevitable, gift shops were well planned out and offered a good variety of pocket money affordable merchandise, along with more luxury items too. A fascinating peep into a bloody history but also marked with a clear respect for those who lost their lives, to the executioners axe

This tour was fantastic. Our beef eater guide was exceptional. A very informative and insightful tour with a touch of humour to make it all that more interesting. There was so much to see after our guided tour, so I recommend you set aside at least two hours to get a full value. The price was worth it, and I would recommend it to others highly!
