We had an overall good experience! Things did feel a bit rushed at times in terms of moving place to place/ breaking for lunch. Our guide provided lots of information which was lovely but overwhelming to a point as it is such a long tour. End of the day, would recommend this experience.

As first-time visitors to Venice, we booked this tour based on our desire to get a true knowledgeable overview of the city, and positive reviews here on VIATOR. Man, did this tour deliver.
Our guide Mosa was an absolute gem - charming, informed, funny - clearly a complete expert on the city, it's Art, Architecture, and History. In his impeccable Italian-accented English he led the tour like a maestro... Peppering his explanations of the sites visited and streets walked with perfectly apt personal and historical anecdotes. He kept the tour moving, made sure administrative details were communicated clearly and simply, and was sensitive to the need for bio-breaks. He willingly answered questions about Venice, and even gave us great guidance about getting our daughter back to the Train station...!
The microphone/earbud system provided worked seamlessly throughout the tour and we were able to hear perfectly.
We (myself, my wife and our daughter) came away feeling like we had learned so much about Venice - it's origins, impact, history, and culture. Felt like we hadn't missed "anything".
The included mid-tour Gondola ride was great - long enough to get the feel, well-timed to give tired feet and backs a rest, and efficiently run with only a brief wait for boarding, etc.
A word to the wise - be prepared for a LOT of walking & standing. Wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat, don't overburden yourself with a large bag as it will weigh you down and get in the way within spaces that are both popular and can be crowded.
Bottom line: Highly recommended, especially our guide Mosa

If you have limited time in Venice, then this is the tour for you. We hit all the major sites with skip the line tickets and had a gondola ride along the side canals and in the grand canal. We had a large lunch break and enjoyed lunch and music in Piazza San Marco on our own and then rejoined the tour. Our guide Elena was very knowledgeable. Her love for Venice was quite evident and she was not rushed. I highly recommend this tour.
