Pickup Details
Pickup is 2-4 hours before your flight departure time. Exact time will be advised the afternoon prior to your departure transfer date. Our boat driver will meet you at the arranged boat stop along the Grand Canal. Your stop will be chosen as close as your Hotel as possible. Venice Airport Link operates from 4am to 7pm from designated Venice meeting points. Guests are requested to present themselves at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure time.

Water taxi showed up early and didn’t identify themselves. Yelled what sounded like “Allen” twice and left when no one responded. No boat number or identifiable markings to indicate it was our taxi. With boats coming and going constantly there should’ve been more effort made. Had to call another taxi at twice the cost. Basically Viator took our money, provided no service, and now won’t refund our money. I’d recommend Viator not assume it’s clients are mind readers

The ride itself was fine. That said - The only communication was the afternoon before and it was sporadic - which made it very stressful. We were told we would be picked up 5 hours before our flight which was WAAAAY TOO Early. We tried to get a later pick up but were not successful. I think they tried to fit us in with another family (who rode with us) so that it was convenient for them (vs for us). I would recommend a private ride vs. this one.

Customer service is very slow at getting back to you. Please double check before you depart what time they have down for your pick up as I requested 16:00 and I only found out it was a 16:20 when I queried it myself through the company. Boat is lovely and clean very efficient way of getting back to the airport. Just send all queries well in advance or call them.

The driver promptly picked us up at 7:45 AM at the designated vaparetto station near our hotel. He helped us with our luggage and promptly took us to Marco Polo airport in a timely manner. He was a great water taxi driver. Everything was comfortable, and the pricing was great.

A good easy trip. The only thing that was a bit stressful was I didn't received a confirmation of the pick up time until the morning of the trip because Viator had not provided the tour operator with my email address, but sent it to the hotel instead. Other than that a very good service.

Excellent easy to reach the Marco Polo airport. You need plenty of time to reach the airport at least 45 minutes.
