This is a small group experience, with each electric cart limited to a max of 7 people. Whilst we do our best to seat groups together, we aren’t able to guarantee this and at times, groups may be asked to sit on separate carts.

This tour runs year-round and will proceed rain or shine unless such weather constitutes a dangerous situation. Our family of five did the private moonlight electric cart tour with Alex as our guide. He was very informative about each monument. It was nice to be able to pull directly up or very close to the monuments and hop on and off the cart. The monuments lit at night was a new way for us to experience them. Also, we were able to see the north side of the White House, which was also a first for us. Alex was a great tour guide, and I would highly recommend this tour as a fun and efficient way to see the monuments along the mall and tidal basin.

Even the rain didn’t damper our evening tour of the monuments! Our guide Freddy did a great job of covering the history of many of the sites & kept us moving in spite of inclement weather. We even stopped & got out at the Jefferson Memorial which was a nice addition. The MLK memorial is awe inspiring & loved seeing all the monuments lit at night. Our small group of 6 made it easy to get in & out of places quickly & loved that we toured in an EV vehicle! Worth every penny.

The weather was cold and drizzly, but we wouldn't have missed this trip! Freddy was knowledgeable about the history of DC, but the flair and humor in his presentation made it extra! 11 out of 10!

I did research before going to Washington for the first time to make sure we would make to most of our 1 night/2 day trip. The only thing I booked in advance was the electric cart tour by night and it was everything I hoped it would be and as a bonus we got an super smart en nice tour guide Freddy Whitlow. Considering the heat during the day the evening tour is a really good idea. The open vehicle makes sure you get a good view of all the sights and it does not feel like a dull tour bus. But you still get to see all the impressive well lighted monuments and sights accompanied by good back ground stories from Freddy. I can really recommend the electric car evening tour.
