Itinerary
AM Horseback ride is a 2-hour ride that goes gradually up the mountainside to view the waterfalls (seasonal) in the valley from a distance. Then ride down the mountainside all the way to the ocean where you will ride along the coastline (not white sand beach.) There is also an area you are allowed to trot or canter (weather permitting).

Weight limit of 215lbs (97.72kg) Strictly Enforced
ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 10 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

The service was excellent. I was a little nervous at first, the ratio of staff to riders was excellent. They were extremely attentive and made the ride even more fun. I highly recommend it!

The overall experience is memorable. The riding on the horse, views of the mountains, views of the shore line, the guiding partners ensuring we have safe experience. A complete enjoyable time.

The company charged us a full amount though we didn't use the service. They reached out to us just 24 hours before saying my partner doesn't qualify to ride the horse because of the weight limitations. However when I tried to cancel, the company refused giving us a refund neither did Viator through which we booked it. Furthermore when I disputed, they lied to my bank saying "we were a no show" that's why they will not refund us. Viator didn't have any weight limitations policy listed on their website at the moment. What a shame.

Great experience. Beautiful views, the staff and people who ride with us were very friendly and funny. Beautiful trails with some amazing views of the ocean and emerald green mountains.
Would definitely recommend doing if you’re in Maui.

Amazing group of guides and horses. Views were great. I rode Buck who was beautiful, an energetic fun ride!!
Very serious about the weight limit, they will weigh you just before the ride! Take it seriously! :)

The tour guides were awesome and the lady there that oversees the horse rides in the beginning was so pleasant to talk to. Beautiful areas they stop to take your pictures at. I got the fastest horse “Crab” and let me tell you he goes from zero to 100 on the “run spot” so hold on tight and enjoy!! 😍

The views of the ocean are fantastic and the horses were great. Our guides were very friendly and informative. Third time riding horses on Maui, all different companies, and this was easily the best.

This tour was incredible. I loved meeting my horse for the journey, Gold, along with all the other horses. The guides were great, gave us plenty of instructions and ensured we understood and always felt comfortable. The journey itself was beautiful, so many amazing views of the mountains and ocean. It was such a worthwhile tour that I’d recommend to anyone to participate in.
