Itinerary
We will pick you up from your hotel or rental home and will drive approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes south to the Savegre River. We will drive through the rural towns of El Silencio and Santo Domingo, while seeing beautiful scenery, learning about the area and the incredible Savegre River. We will raft down fun Class II and III rapids, while also stopping half way through for a snack at a waterfall. When we are done rafting, we will head back to our Amigos Del Rio headquarters in Manuel Antonio where lunch will be served, and then will take our guests back to their prospective hotels.

Went as a family of 4. Had an amazing time rafting down the river with our guide Christian. He was firm and fun for us amateurs. And don't forget the lunch after. That was amazing chicken and rice. We are planning on coming back here next year it was so fun

Rafting was amazing! We loved our guide Juan! I would highly recommend this adventure. I am a 64 year old who is not up for strenous sports and loved it! Thank you to all the guides on our trip!

We had a fabulous time. All the guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Information about the area was shared on the drive to the start. Our guide,Louis , was engaging, funny, and fun. The lunch at the end was delicious. I cannot say one negative thing about this trip.

Amazing experience. We had an incredible experience on this tour. Safety was a priority and the rapids were lots of fun. Jesus was our guide and he was incredibly funny.

My family had a great time on this excursion. Jesus was both informative and entertaining (he's got a great supply of Dad jokes) on both the ride to the launch site, as well as the rafting experience itself. Both Cristobel and Moises were also very helpful in orienting my family to whitewater rafting. We saw a lot of wildlife (toucans, red iguanas, lots of Jesus Christ lizards), and got to see the waterfall with the jumping fish. Overall, I'd recommend this for anyone at any level of experience in rafting.

Our family of 5 (kids 14,11,9) had a great day rafting the Savagre with Amigos del Rio. Beautiful location, safe, fun guides - kids loved splashing other rafts, jumping off raft and floating in the river), cool wildlife sightings, refreshing water. One of our favorite activities.

One adult and one 8 year old had a fantastic time rafting again! The water is low in March but still some fun rapids and several chances for us to float down in the river (my son’s favorite part). The guides are all really friendly and knowledgeable.

White water rafting was a blast. Our tour guide was the best, Thanks Kenneth. Tour starts with a great lunch, then a ride into the beautiful Costa Rica for a 2+ hour rafting trip where you will see amazing views and wildlife in addition to your rafting experience.
