Pass By: Colonial Williamsburg Capitol Building, W Duke of Gloucester St, Cool, Williamsburg, VA 23185

Experience the many ghosts of this old colonial town that are still seen today. Learn of the hangings of Blackbeard's crew and what happened to Blackbeard's skull. Did our forefathers really drink from his skull? Stand right where Grace Sherwood, the most famous witch, is often seen during mock trials in the Capitol and hear of her fate, finally pardoned by Gov. Tim Kean after centuries of being called the Witch of Pungo. Learn of Anne Bonny and Mary Reed (a woman posing as Mark Reed) who were aboard Calico Jack's ship and fought like men. Top it all off by going to the Jones Graveyard, where Ida Jones still haunts the graves today, in the late-night hours.

My son and I enjoyed this tour so much. Grace Sherwood was an excellent character. She was engaging and entertaining. This tour is great for all ages and the best tour in Williamsburg that I’ve been on. A must see! Don’t miss this fun tour while you’re in Williamsburg!

OMG! So much fun and you will learn about the “darker side” of Colonial Williamsburg! Grace was full of energy and conducted audience participation skits along the way! My husband played Black Beard and loved it. Mr. Pirate was nothing short of hilarious. Highly recommend but wear comfortable shoes.

Lexi is a great story teller and although she is acting she communicated in a way that could make you really believe in Ghosts for example. The group was about 12 or so people and that was a perfect size as we could all get close and hear her.

Too cutesy, geared for kids. Showed photos that were easily doctored, did share a few historical facts. Very disappointing as adults

Maiden Lexy was a great tour guide. She was enthusiastic, entertaining, and knowledgeable. The stories she told were about witches, pirates, and ghosts. Our group was 10 ten people, including Lexy. After the tour, my granddaughter commented how lucky we were to be in a small group. Many of the groups we passed had 30 or more people. We could all hear Lexy clearly, and even the youngest child in our group, who appeared to be about 5, was focused on the stories she told.
