The Amsterdam XtraCold Icebar is one of the coolest places in town (literally!) and definitely in the top things to do in Amsterdam. This amazing bar is kept at a constant temperature of -10 degrees Celsius and everything is made entirely out of ice. Be amazed at this remarkable feat of engineering and enjoy the unique venue as you sip your favorite drinks from ice glasses.

Very crowded and very cold. We here herded in to the ice bar like a bunch of cattle. It was very crowded and cold. So crowded, really could not even enjoy our drink. Would not recommend.

We celebrated my husband's 68th birthday at the Xtracold Icebar in Amsterdam & it was such fun!! The drinks were great, the staff was fun, & this was a great experience we will never forget.

When we do a City break, we fit in as much things to do as possible. This was something different for us.
You get tickets for 3 drinks; one in the main bar, 2 in the Ice bar.
Very restricted drink list. We had a cocktail in main bar which had so much ice in it you couldn’t taste any alcohol.
An actor appears at the time of your slot and guides you through to the ice bar. You put on jacket and gloves before entering. Temp was -9.
Very thick chunky ice glasses. Smaller choice of shots, a beer or an orange juice.
Professional photo taken for you to buy. Plenty selfie opportunities within the Icebar.
It was a fun experience but expensive for what you get. Been, done, probably wouldn’t do again

It's a nice and quick little experience. Had fun. Would recommend to anyone who just wants to have a quick drink or you can stick around and continue drinking after your time in the ice itself is done.

This attraction is definitely not worth your money. The drinks were poor, they didn’t have half of the cocktails on the menu. There wasn’t enough sitting. And the shots in the ice room are terrible. The actors really tried their hardest to get us all involved and I feel a bit sorry for saying that the attraction is poor . The actors are the only reason I’ve rated it 2 and not Zero.
