Zarzuela Opera and Dinner at La Castafiore Restaurant in Madrid

Arrived on time and we were immediately seated. First impression music / show amazing. Server arrived with menus, took drink orders. We ordered our 3 course meal that came with wine and soft drinks. We were impressed with the entertainment, the quality of the food and the service. What a perfect evening! This place is a gem.

We had a wonderful and very memorable evening here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was delicious and the singing was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyable and great value.

One of the best things I did in Madrid. The restaurant was great, the staff was great and the owner actually was there and stopping by every table to make sure all was going good. Singing was top level. If you are in Madrid - don't miss this one.

This dinner opera show was amazing! The singers were spectacular and the piano player gifted! It was interactive with the audience and so entertaining. The food was delicious as well!

Booked an 8:00 pm show for my family. Showed up, the restaurant was closed. Ended up walking back to the hotel and trying to find dinner somewhere else. Why accept the reservation if you're not going to be open?

This restaurant has great, quality food and the best service. The grilled fish, the steak and the squid were perfectly cooked. We enjoyed a pleasant dinner. Our waiter - Fernando was very rapid, nice and helpful with his recommendations for wine pairings. We would definitely go there again.

Overall an excellent way to spend an evening. The performances were charming and very good. The pianist was outstanding. And the service was very attentive and well paced. I thought the food was great as well—a good selection of choices for each course and very tasty. The pasta starter stuffed with Gorgonzola and pears with Champagne sauce was a standout. With wine, water and a glass of cava—great value.

We thought this might be an interesting birthday dinner and music for my husband. We are from Canada. It turned out well above expectation! We had assigned tables with good view for all. No rush to find seating. Good meal food with plenty of options for each course. Everything including wine was included in our ticket. No surprises. Waiter spoke little English but we did fine and wished we had better Spanish! Loved the piano music during the courses and loved the operatic quality of the vocalists. A lovely evening and I can recommend it to travellers. Much of the crowd was Spanish and celebrating a special event. The female program director visited each table and actually helped find the nearby taxi stand. Muchas gracias!
