Georgia, the Peach state is located in the southeastern area of the United States, just above Florida. The population is bustling with 9.9 million people with a total area of 59,425 square kilometres. The capital and largest city is Atlanta and has some of the fastest growing counties in the nation, for both tourism and business. Other large cities include Augusta, Columbus, and Northeast Cobb.
Georgia is one of those places where you can get the best of all worlds. The northernmost region of the state is the start of the ancient Appalachian Mountains. The mountains eventually shrink to wooded foothills as one moves east, then the hills flatten to plains and the planes finally end at a stunning coastline and views from Savannah.
For those into history visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Site. Georgia has a little of everything though: The Sea Island Golf Course, Zoo Atlanta, the Georgia Aquarium, High Museum of Art, Stone Mountain Park, Atlanta Botanical Garden, and of course World of Coca-Cola.
