From Makena, you'll travel to Turtle Town via kayak, paddling on South Maui’s calm, clear waters, before you plunge into a protected reef and snorkel alongside sea turtles, dolphins, rays, octopuses, and eels. Our Morning Kayak Tour is one of the most magical ways to start your day, both for those visiting our island or for locals alike! The Condado lagoon is one of the best places to kayak in Puerto Rico, so, it can get crowded (usually fills up around noon)... So on this kayak adventure our group will have the entire lagoon basically to ourselves... Well, sharing with local birds, fish, and manatees of course (fingers crossed we see any and all!). Get ready to enjoy beautiful 360 degree city skyline views in our ultimate Urban Adventure!

Exposition regarding our Puerto Rican heritage, and live commentary and interpretation of your surroundings can be given in both English and Spanish throughout the journey. Once we arrive at the Rainforest, we will take a nature walk path (watch out for wet, uneven terrain) through the flora until reaching the river stream. Do not forget your towel and swimsuit! (Swimming is dependent on weather conditions) After this time, we head back to your lodgings.

There is a reason that the Mangrove Tunnels of Lido Key are a must-do experience when visiting the Gulf Coast. We launch from Ted Sperling Nature Park (190 Taft Dr Sarasota FL) which has clean restrooms, a rinsing shower, and shaded picnic tables. Our amazing local guides from Sea Life Kayak Adventures take you on a tour of Little Sarasota Bay, where you may see manatees, dolphins, a variety of birds and sea life...then finish up in the famous mangrove tunnels, a beautiful canopy that meanders thru an island. The tour usually goes around 2 hours, but we aren't on a strict schedule, so please allow for an extra half hour. We are located just minutes from downtown Sarasota, 20 minutes from Siesta Key, and a half hour from Anna Maria Island and Bradenton (add time for traffic during high season. We meet a HALF HOUR before our tours)

Sargassum is a free-floating seaweed abundant in the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico. While these large ecosystems are harmless and beneficial to ocean life, they frequently wash up on our shores and can sometimes smell.
All odd-numbered groups or solo kayakers will be paired up during the tour. - You will get wet!
