On this adventure you’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the beautiful hanging bridges park with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Arenal Volcano. Accompanied by a professional nature guide, you’ll walk across several bridges that hang from canyon wall to canyon wall, allowing you to see wildlife from above the tree top canopy. Your guide, equipped with a spotting scope and binoculars will point out wildlife and tell you about the natural history. Afterwards, you’ll head to the Pure Trek headquarters for a delicious, Costa Rican style lunch and meet your canyoning guides. On this 6hour nature adventure you will see all the stunning beauty of the Arenal area. It doesn't come easy though. Narrow jungle trails and huge lava rocks need to be conquered. The reward is definitely worth the effort. Getting out of the jungle you reach the lava rocks right at the foot of the volcano. With the impressive Arenal looming over you, you realy get an idea of the immensity of this now silent giant. Making our way down your bilingual guide tells about the eco system and the wildlife we may encounter.
Reaching the bottom part of the trek a emerald green clean water lake awaits us. You can jump in with a Tarzan swing and take time for a refreshing swim in this magnificently beautiful place. After this break we have a typical style lunch. To finish our experience we go to a small resort where we relax in natural hot water pools for about an hour.

A unique way to experience Costa Rica's natural beauty and wildlife. Slowly floating down the Peñas Blancas River in a raft. With rainforest on both sides of the river, makes you surround by nature and wildlife. Family friendly experience, you bilingual nature guide will explain step by step about the environment.
The drive to the Peñas Blancas river is only 20 minutes. The float takes about two hours with a small fruit break half way down. When we get back to La Fortuna, we provide a typical organic Costa Rican lunch. We make you homemade coffee and take you for a small walk up behind the restaurant, to show you how we grow organic. We finish with a sugarcane demonstration where you get to take the pure sugarcane juice and alcohol.
