We will enjoy a relaxing yatch sailing through the historic and challenging Beagle Channel, the cradle of countless historic shipwrecks in these icy waters south of the Strait of Magellan. One of the objectives will be to obtain the typical postcard with the lighthouse behind us.
We set sail from the tourist pier along the wide Ushuaia Bay, observing from another perspective the profile of the city of Ushuaia and the geographical distribution at the foot of the Andes Mountains; until reaching the Beagle Channel through the Paso Chico.
There we sail around the Island of the Birds where we appreciate the Fuegian birds such as Skúas, Black-browed Albatross, Steam Ducks, Cauquenes, Cook Gulls and Gray Gulls. We go on around the sea lions’ island where we can see specimens of sea lions with one and two hairs. Both islands belong to the Bridges archipelago.

This tour lasts about 4 hours and we also stop at the End of the World railway Station, where you can take End of the World Train ( it is an optional ride of 1 hour long). The furthest point we will reach is the end of Panamerican Highway to take a picture of the distance from Alaska up to there at the famous sign.

This moderate difficulty trekking will take through several different environments. From the big valley full of peat moss, through the beaver dams and the fuegian wood, to finally arrive the Emerald Lagoon in between mountains. You will be be amazed by the different colors through trek. The expert mountain guide will talk about the landscape and the fauna and flora that you will see see along the trail.This is the perfect afternoon for nature lovers!
It is an excursion that offers Adventure from start to finish, recommended for all who are looking to spend a different day at the End of the World, surrounded by nature and beautiful landscapes.
On the way along Route 3 we will make stops at different viewpoints where we will be able to appreciate large Turbales with a view of the Andes, Mountain Glaciers.
Then we will stop at the Las Cotorras Winter Center where we will visit the Siberian Fire Hatchery. Next we pass through Cerro Castor, the main Alpine Ski center in Argentina.
We arrive at the mountainous Mirador Paso Garibaldi, the limit of the Andes mountain range. Where we will have a magnificent postcard of Lake Escondido at 480 masl approx.
Upon arrival at Estancia La Carmen we begin our 4x4 Off Road Adventure, where we will travel off-road circuits and Castoreras until we reach the main town on the shores of Lake Fagnano, where we can take some walks and enjoy the beauty and nature.
You will depart from the hotel in a minibus by land (20 km) to the Tierra Mayor valley. From the Nunatak refuge You will begin the walk during which you will cross peat bogs, streams and centuries-old forests of Lengas and Coihues.
The possibility of spotting foxes, condors and beavers is always latent.
The Esmeralda Lagoon is located in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Landscape Reserve, the color of its waters and its geographical location in the middle of the Fuegian mountain range invite you to stop and rest on its shores while enjoying lunch.
Finally, you will return to the refuge by a different path than the one you came in and return to the hotel.

This excursion includes the trekking Laguna Esmeralda, adding the ascent along the main tributary of the lagoon, which has its source in the Ojo del Albino Glacier.
The glacier will surprise you with a spectacle of ice and mountains. You will arrive at the viewpoint of the valley where you can enjoy lunch with wonderful views from 900 meters above sea level.
The journey will continue, with stops at panoramic points of impressive beauty. Finally you will return to the Nunatak refuge and from there to the hotel.
