Imagine rappelling down waterfalls in a private rainforest valley on the famed Road to Hana. What's rappelling? When the streams flood due to rain and the falls are roaring or swollen, and we cannot safely rappel one or both waterfalls, we rappel 40- to 115-foot drops from jungle cliffsides at a safe distance from the water course.

Your daylong expedition starts at the Grand Canyon Airport (South Rim) with a 1-hour plane ride over the Grand Canyon's East Rim, the Colorado River, and Lake Powell. Then receive a picnic-style lunch and board your motorized raft to float 18 miles (29 km) along the Colorado River through Glen Canyon as your guide talks about the history and geology of the area.
