As a Canadian Signature Experience, Norquay's Via Ferrata is a must-do activity when visiting Banff National Park. Our highly qualified ACMG-certified guides will lead you up the cliffs of Mt Norquay that hang above the Bow Valley, overlooking the town of Banff.
Steel handholds, ladders, and footsteps as well as a steel safety cable are secured to the rock wall providing assistance and safety. Climbers are safely secured to the safety cable while climbing.
The Explorer Route is a 2.5-hour introduction to Via Ferrata and a great way to test out this adrenaline-packed alpine activity. Climb pitches, and cross the course’s picturesque suspension bridge.
Although no prior climbing experience is necessary, guests should be fit enough to climb a ladder.
Set on a mountain pass, the Grimsel trip starts with a heart-pumping 50m rappel. Filled with amazing jumps, slides and a zip line into a crystal clear pool, this majestic alpine environment has plenty to offer. The pale-coloured rock formations in this canyon add to the stunning mountain scenery.
I am a certified Hiking Guide by AIGAE and a Tour Leader and graduated in Environmental Science, so I will be the right person to guide you. God's Path is a typical hike from Agerola to Nocelle (Positano) (Shared groups), or vice versa (Only private tours).
You need to be MODERATELY fit and wear trekking shoes or trail running shoes or gym shoes.
ON THE WALK THERE ARE MANY UP AND DOWN and those are the 4Ds of the hike:

- Distance 7kms (5 miles)
The view is amazing cause you can see all the Amalfi Coast and Islands.
There are also other loop hike solutions if decided and agreed together.

Guests will hike their way on the rock fins towards drainages and canyons that lead to two rappels. The first rappel sends visitors into the slot canyon, Medieval Chamber. Rappelling through this canyon displays the beautiful layers of sandstone that have been dispersed over millions of years. The canyon then opens up to make way for the second rappel. This unique free hanging rappel is a breathtaking 120 feet next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge. The bridge measures 243 feet in width, making it one of the longest natural land bridges in the United States. Once at the bottom visitors are able to enjoy the scenic hike Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River.
This once in a lifetime experience is a thrilling way to get up close and personal one of Kauai’s most popular natural attractions. Da Life Outdoors brings the magic of Hule'ia River and it's 241 acres of National Wildlife Refuge to visitors and Kama'ainas (residents). Their guides perform volunteer service towards the natural resource restoration for the privilege of sharing it with guests, and a portion of all ticket sales are donated to the Hule'ia National Wildlife Refuge for ongoing conservation efforts.
After a detailed rappel safety lesson, and a practice run on the dry wall, you will be guided into the waterfalls. The first waterfall rappel is done at the 30’ Bamboo Falls, and then followed by the towering 60’ Papakolea Falls. Your tour ends with a snack overlooking the Hule'ia Watershed and Ha'upu Mountain range. The photos you could take on this adventure will leave your friends at work SPEECHLESS! Dare to challenge the mud roads in the middle of the jungle aboard an ATV, driving through an imperfect path full of mud (rainy season), stones, climbs, descents, water and lots of fun.
Zip lines circuit (4) one of them 1KM (long) here you can fly through the treetops, these zip lines have high safety standards, but before this, we will do a Mayan ceremony (10min) just for more safety, hehe! Finally, Discover a cenote by swimming - Mayans believed that there were doors to the underworld - it can be accessed through a safe staircase and what your eyes will see is totally out of this world. At the end, we will go to our restaurant to eat a delicious Mayan lunch (tacos), order a beer and rest in a hammock.
Finally you will ride a horse to explore the Mayan jungle, meet more cenotes, you will see birds, maybe monkeys and if you see a jaguar, well, life is a risk, hahaha!
This excursion allows you the opportunity to be one with nature for at least 4 hours. Connect with one's self while listening to the symphony of the birds, crickets and likely Vervet monkeys. Enjoy the picturesque sceneries and fresh pure air at this elevation. See and learn about many plant types while enjoying a little work out. Lastly do all of this and more with a knowledge and experience local tour guide.
